A Gift For Music was founded on the idea that all students, regardless of their socioeconomic status, should have access to the life changing benefits of a quality music education. Since 1999, AGFM has worked with more than 9,000 under-resourced youth throughout Central Florida, teaching them how to play string instruments and providing them with enriching music education that teaches them how to be better musicians, and better people.
By providing extra-musical activities like college information sessions, Personal Finance days, community volunteer opportunities, and more - A Gift For Music ensures that every student is instilled with the desire to accomplish more for their community, and for themselves. Since 2012, 100% A Gift For Music students that have been involved from the 3rd grade until the 12th grade have gone to college. This is music education that works! Each year, we make comprehensive music education happen for more than 400 Central Florida students that need it the most. Here's how you can help:
